A Personal Note From Bill Nesbitt

In this issue of SMSI Security Watch you will find photos taken at the World Trade Center Site and the Muir Office Building Site.

I recently took a driving trip which covered 8,500 miles and included 23 states and 2 Canadian provinces. In the near future, I intend to reflect my experiences and emotions as I traveled across America. I will post that article on the SMSI Website.

My trip included stops at the Muir Office Building Memorial in Oklahoma City and The World Trade Center Site in New York City. Visits to these sites will tend to bring the reality of terrorism up close and personal.

I believe we all have a responsibility to make the country safer. For the business community that duty has a number of practical implications. Good security is just good business.

We all need to pay attention to the ever-changing landscape. There are a number of web resources we monitor including both governmental websites as well as a variety of Think Tank sites.

Our goal at SMSI is to help our clients face these new threats in a calm and reasoned way.
